About Us

The objectives of MOSOA, whose members are registered with the Referee Program of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), and / or the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA), are to:
  • Provide its members with the opportunities and skills to officiate soccer within the surrounding community.
  • Act as a facilitator between the different leagues of interest and MOSOA members.
  • Provide an atmosphere in which peers gain a better understanding of the "Laws" or "Rules" of the game through interaction and discussion.
  • Promote the assignment of sanctioned referees to officiate at various levels of play.
  • Advocate for individual members in all matters related to participation in the sport of soccer as a referee.
  • Encourage sportsmanship among players, coaches, referees, and spectators.

Our website www.mosoa.org, serves the membership in many ways.  It provides information pertaining to assignment of games, MOSOA sponsored clinics and meetings, and provides the links to the organizations in which we serve as referees.
